Wood Framer

We are seeking an experienced Wood Framing Contractor to support our commercial construction projects. In this role, you will construct structural frameworks with a strong focus on accuracy, efficiency, and job site safety. Proven experience in wood framing, metal building erection, and blueprint reading is required.

*This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Insurance is required.

    • Proven experience in framing carpentry

    • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately

    • Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and woodworking machinery

    • Knowledge of construction management principles and site safety protocols

    • Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces

    • Strong understanding of building codes and standards related to framing and structural work

    • 20-40hrs/week

    • $30/Hour

    • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately construct frameworks using various materials such as wood, metal studs, and concrete forms

    • Perform framing tasks including wall, roof, floor, and trim carpentry using hand tools and power tools efficiently

    • Operate heavy equipment safely for site preparation, material handling, and structural assembly

    • Manage construction site activities by coordinating with team members and subcontractors to meet project timelines

    • Conduct quality inspections on framing work to guarantee compliance with specifications
